This waterfall site in Grenada has three separate falls to visit—from a 35-foot (10.6-meter) cascade near the entrance to two larger waterfalls that require a hike through a forest reserve. The first waterfall is accessible via a paved path with handrails. The natural pools make for a refreshing swim.
From the Concord waterfall, follow the winding path that leads through a nutmeg plantation to the second waterfall, Au Coin, and then to Fontainebleau, towering 65 feet (20 meters). It takes about an hour to reach the final waterfall. You can swim in the clear, small pools beneath the falls, but beware the currents. Guided tours that combine the falls with stops at the Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Station and nearby Diamond Chocolate Factory are available.

Concord Falls are located on the western side of Grenada, around two miles (three kilometers) from the village of Concord. Concord is around 25 minutes from St. George’s by bus; the bus terminal is about a block or two from the cruise ship pier. Look for the No. 5 bus to Concord. The falls are also easily accessible by car. Take a guided tour with transportation to avoid hassles.
The first waterfall is typically the most crowded, especially when cruise ships are docked. The second and third waterfalls are generally more peaceful as they require a hike through the forest to reach. Durin Grenada’s dry season, from January to mid-April, the trails may not be as muddy.
Another popular falls area that’s more remote than Concord, Seven Sisters Falls is located within Grenada’s Grand Etang National Park. It features seven "steps" that collect into a large pool at the bottom, which is ideal for swimming. The trail leading to Seven Sisters is considered moderate to challenging. From the park, you can also reach Concord Falls, but it’s a 5-hour trek that requires a guide and is for serious hikers only.
